Sims 3 Pregnant Teen Body
- edited November 2010Yes, the pregnancy bellies DO grow. You're right that it's not like they used to. Now it happens gradually, not dramatically popping out once a day. I much prefer it this way, I don't understand how you think the other way is more realistic, and I've been pregnant twice.
- edited November 2010LOL! I think you're confused. In real life people's bellies do not suddenly double in size over the span of two seconds, Like in Sims 2. In sims 3, they grow gradually which is much more realistic.
- edited November 2010Whether it be more realistic or not, I prefer it this way. It used to bother me when my sims dropped everything they were doing to have their stomach grow. Especially at night. I do, however, miss that my girl sims can no longer go to work while their pregnant and then for three whole days after the baby is born! It's seriously irritating for when I want them to have a family and a career. Because sims lives are so short, it seems like the game is almost making you choose one or the other. It would be nice to have my sims choose to go on maternity leave whenever they wish and then have the option to return to work in less than three days time.
- edited November 2010my game must have a glitch then because my nims bellies do not grow they dont even look like they gained any weight or anything.
i must have been mistaken

- edited November 2010Speaking of pregnant sims, when will they change it so someone else in the family thats an adult drive the pregnant sim to the hospital....i always see the prego sim driving to the hospital when the baby is coming! hehe
- edited November 2010And also why can't pregnant sims change appearence? They could in the sims 2.0

They already can.....
You have to be controling the other sim.
Then you click on the pregnant sim and choose 'Take to the Hospital' - edited November 2010i would also like to see the option for the male sim to stay home on maternity leave.
EA should put an option when the baby is born to pick who is going to stay home that way My female sims can have to same oppourtunity as men - edited November 2010hear hear! I am really sick of my female sims missing so much work. You should definately be able to choose who stays home, even if its a grandparent who lives in the house.
- edited November 2010any adult living in the house should be considered to be the caregiver for the child so that the mommy and daddy can work.
